Grey Lynn Basement

Traction Room were engaged to excavate a new basement/garage into an existing villa in Grey Lynn along with various landscaping upgrades.

As well as completing the construction, Traction Room engineered the temporary works design required to support the existing house while excavating the new basement. A temporary retaining wall was also required inside the excavation to enable safe access while building the permanent structure. Traction Room completed the three-car garage, along with insitu concrete walls to the exterior, reinstatement of the driveway, and landscaping works to the building perimeter.

Traction Room also project managed the whole development, obtaining the building consents, permits, and liaising with the architect.
