Hamilton to Auckland Passenger Rail

Traction Room was engaged by KiwiRail in June 2019 to facilitate the change management process regarding the commencement of passenger services between Hamilton and Auckland (Papakura).

Traction Room’s scope of work was to develop a risk assessment regarding the proposed services to support an application for Regulatory Approval, and to develop and implement a SFAIRP (So Far as is Reasonably Practicable) process to monitor and document the implementation of the agreed controls.

The services are on track to commence in June 2020. The Client has acknowledged the key role played by Traction Room in the management of the SHE management of change process.
